Henry's in Augsburg

Today I went for a coffee with my husband .... Service was very unfriendly and coffee is totally bad. Not again.

You have deteriorated a lot in terms of quality and lost me and many of my friends as customers. That is of course also slowly being reflected when you read through the recessions here.

The burgers used to be okay and now they're really good!

Just disappointing the only good thing was the pizza. 3 salads did not get any dressing, only on request and in addition there were aufbackbbrötchen all in all not to be recommended

Every time you visit there is a new card. The service used to be miserable but luckily it has improved. The cocktails are good but the food is just thawed. The cappuccinos are overpriced.

What to say Good location just doesn't excuse bad quality. The cakes are evidently closed and thawed. Unfortunately only sweet, but not tasty. If you offer single origin coffee, the preparation should be appropriate ... Unfortunately, the coffee is simply chased through the machine as a coffee cream :( The waiters are poorly trained. They neither know how the coffee is being prepared nor which cakes are currently available. The time between ordering and receiving the coffee was far too long at over 30 minutes and the waiter's response to questions was inadequate.

Very good coffee, with a delicious piece of cake and absolutely friendly service ... What more could you want ?! ???

Terribly under-staffed for a sunny Sunday afternoon. I saw some tables wait 20+ mins to get a waiter's attention, even more to actually get served. Apple cake was cheap, manufactured and tasteless - not even remotely homemade.

The coffees and bagels were also great. The crepes too. Only the toilets should be cleaned more often.

Very nice ambience, super delicious food (crepes, cheesecake, pizza, ...) and super cocoa! In addition, very nice staff - special praise to the funny waiter = 3 The whole family will be back! :) *****

Have been there twice with friends. Love the lively ambience and the service. Worth visiting for coffee or coolers in summers. Special thanx to JOE for his awesome and so friendly service. Would love to visit again

The food is ok, but nothing more ... dried-on decoration on the plate and baked rolls. The condition is very slow and inattentive. Not good service in general. I will definitely not come a second time ..

Very tasty and specialty coffees and good cocktails. A great atmosphere and plenty of seating. The waiters Patricia, Joe and Lucas are especially nice and bring drinks and food to the table very quickly. :)

Very nice location, can't say anything bad about it, but the service needs improvement. The first step would already be taken if some employees were exchanged. Some very unfriendly are unfortunately there ...

The stars are given for the location and for the last few visits, the food and service were OK. Today, however, we wanted to have lunch at Henry's when it rained, the umbrellas outside were open, it was still nice to sit there. We weren't the only ones. The waiter also saw us several times but never came. It was only on my own initiative that we found out that the waiters do not serve the area when it rains - or do not want to serve. What kind of thing is that? Then just close the umbrellas and don't just let your guests wait without information. Service looks different to me ??

Eduard was our waiter. Very friendly and courteous, and he was always at the table when you needed something. You never had to wait long. The waiter himself was very personable and you had a nice evening there.

We had a very tasty breakfast and had a nice waitress! Food is always good here. It depends on the operation ... we had to wait half an hour before we were served. Still a good shop!

Very nice atmosphere right on the Augsburg Rathausplatz! You can enjoy good food and crepes until late in the evening (highly recommended?)! We had a wine and an aperitif, price performance was also extremely good. The staff was also very nice, especially our waitress Gerry was particularly friendly and looked after us very well. All-round package 5 stars ?

Nice place on Rathausplatz with good drinks and the best service Gerry. I have rarely experienced such good, friendly and personable service, only recommendable :)

I'm not too much satisfied with high prices of coffee and cakes and toilet cleanness. Especially, a pancake served by the Henrys was very dry, old and not too tasty. However I would like to say people working there are polite and kinda kind.

Has a lot of good food and the coffee is very good

The only thing they care about is PROFIT. No matter at what price. They do not hire enough staff to stem the amount of orders coming in and exploit existing staff to the max. They also use very cheap products (oil etc.) to save money on expenses. After eating the fried veggies I almost had to throw up beause it was such bad quality oil used. The owners have a horrible reputation built up in Augsburg for exactly these reasons. Up until a short while ago, the waiters didn't even get to keep their tips. I refuse to support business men who build something that only benefits the few at the top. Moral and ethical guidelines and a promise to quality and equality is what I want to pay for. They represent everything that is wrong with corporations and our capitalistic system.

Prices are a bit steep, however the coffee and the service were amazing. The place has a nice feel to it and the outdoor seating area is fantastic.

A nice place for a quick snack

Things you order take like ages to arrive and whrn they do, they're not necessarily what you've initially ordered. We're 7 people ordering 6 ice creams and 7 drinks. The first drinks arrived after 10 minutes, the first ice creams after 15 minutes. The last drinks after 25 minutes and the last ice cream after 40 minutes. And they were not the ones the girls have initially ordered, because the kitchen apparently ran out of strawberry.

I liked this place very much, the first impression was noisy, many people eat everything and it smells very tasty, I wanted to stay :) the table by the window was just released. A wide choice of menus, from salad to burgers, pancakes, pies, cakes, what I could see while the waiter came) The waiters are polite, imagine how they manage to cope, because there were a lot of people! I ordered a pancake with red fish and Philadelphia cheese. Cooking time 5-7 minutes. I did not expect that there would be such a large portion, in the photo the size does not seem the same as in reality + another salad was served on a pancake !!! Beautiful feed and very tasty! Cappuccino too ?? For all paid 11.90. As for me, for an institution in the heart of the city, it is not expensive! It can be seen that the place is visited by more local than tourists, which undoubtedly indicates that the institution has recommended itself well. I was surprised that the rating on Google is 3.7 ? from me is solid 5??????

Possibly, they did not expect the great weather, possibly they did not expect any visitors, however they are completely understaffed. From sitting down to ordering to getting the drinks, it took half an hour. Yet, they have a wonderful selection of coffees and the brownies are good. Sadly, the fruit cocktail is using dried herbs, which provide not a good experience when drinking.

My love for any city necessarily depends on whether it has a venue that serves excellent coffee. I have come to love Augsburg after visiting this "coffee world". A lovely atmosphere, a very informative menu, ultra friendly service (including a great English-speaking employee called Patricia, she was above and beyond), and excellent coffee. You get to choose from a wide variety of coffee beans, which they roast and grind on demand. I am not (yet) a coffee connoisseur, but I am pursuing it, and in my amateur experience spanning Jordan, some US states, and some German cities, this coffee house has been a very positively memorable experience, one that I will definitely come back to in my next visit to Augsburg. I found the Sambia Peaberry to be enjoyable.

Tables were not cleaned. Staff seemed stressed and overwhelmed (we waited for more than 1 hour for our drinks. And when they came, they were not the ones we ordered)
